The Role

As the Head of Active Networks & Engineering, you will serve as the principal engineering authority within our Chief Technology & Innovation Office (CTIO). You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of our infrastructure, providing strategic leadership in the planning, deployment, and optimization of Mobile Access, Fixed Wireless Access, and Fixed Access Networks. This is a high-impact position where your work will directly influence our network's performance, scalability, and long-term growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Engineering Leadership: Oversee all engineering activities, ensuring that network investments align with commercial objectives and our long-term roadmap.
Network Expansion & Planning: Lead rollout initiatives, identify capacity bottlenecks, and drive expansion plans for future growth.
Project Governance: Provide technical leadership for mission-critical initiatives such as Project NOVA, Air Fiber expansion, and national roaming programs.
Performance Optimization: Drive continuous improvements in network quality, throughput, and customer experience through rigorous KPI analysis.
Vendor Management: Serve as the primary interface with technology partners and equipment vendors, ensuring compliance with global engineering standards.
Team Development: Mentor and lead a team of high-performing engineering managers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field (a Master’s degree is highly preferred).
A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the telecommunications sector.
At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership or management role.
Proven track record in deploying and optimizing carrier-grade mobile and fixed access networks.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex transformation projects.
