Key Responsibilities

As a GRC Engineer I, you will play a crucial part in our client engagements and internal security initiatives. Your day will be diverse and impactful, involving tasks such as:

Supporting the implementation and continuous maintenance of cybersecurity compliance programs, with a focus on frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST CSF.
Actively participating in client projects, ensuring successful delivery of compliance solutions that meet Workstreet’s high security standards.
Assisting in the development and refinement of security policies, procedures, and controls.
Conducting risk assessments and contributing to incident response planning.
Collaborating closely with clients and internal teams to gather requirements, provide expert guidance, and communicate progress effectively.
Helping manage multiple cybersecurity compliance projects concurrently, balancing priorities and deadlines.
Potentially providing guidance or oversight to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated individual eager to make a tangible impact. The ideal candidate will bring the following to our team:

A solid foundation in cybersecurity compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST CSF. Demonstrable experience applying these principles is key.
Strong, clear, and persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
Some prior experience overseeing or guiding a small team, or leading specific project workstreams, ensuring effective client engagement delivery.
