As our Global Automation and IT System Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our global IT infrastructure and automating critical processes. This is a fully remote position, specifically open to candidates based in Kenya, Pakistan, or Jordan. You will contribute directly to enhancing our operational efficiency, allowing our teams to focus more effectively on their life-saving work in the field. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automation scripts and tools across various IT systems.
- Manage and optimize core IT infrastructure, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.
- Provide expert technical support and guidance to global teams, resolving complex system issues.
- Develop, document, and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure operational consistency and compliance.
- Collaborate with diverse departments to identify opportunities for automation and system enhancements.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and privacy across all Relief International's IT platforms.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in IT automation and system management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in IT system administration, automation, and infrastructure management.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS) and virtualization technologies.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and process improvement.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive as part of a distributed global team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for technical and non-technical audiences.

- Must be legally based in Kenya, Pakistan, or Jordan.
