We’re currently seeking an exceptional GIS Analyst to join our team as a contractor, focusing on the critical area of Visual Document Understanding within Surveying & GIS. This is a fantastic fully remote, worldwide opportunity, offering a flexible commitment of 15 to 20 hours per week at an attractive rate of $50 per hour. Key Responsibilities

Precisely evaluate the accuracy of AI models as they interpret visual documents within the specialized Surveying & GIS domain.
Develop detailed, robust tasks that include clear ground-truth outputs and objective rubrics for assessment.
Review and meticulously refine AI-generated content, ensuring strict alignment with established domain principles and standards.
Provide structured, actionable feedback to significantly enhance the effectiveness of AI model training and ongoing evaluation processes.
Collaborate closely with subject matter experts, maintaining data consistency and relevance across all datasets.
Work autonomously and asynchronously, successfully meeting deadlines while continuously improving AI model performance.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who brings a strong blend of specialized knowledge and practical experience to the table:

Expertise in Surveying & GIS: A deep understanding and practical background in all facets of Surveying and Geographic Information Systems.
Experience with AI Model Evaluation: Proven experience in assessing and analyzing the performance and accuracy of AI models.
Ability to Create Objective Rubrics and Ground-Truth Outputs: Demonstrated skill in designing clear, measurable evaluation criteria and defining definitive correct answers.
