Bankers without Boundaries is seeking to partner with two dedicated greenhouse gas and decarbonisation experts or specialized organizations. You will provide top tier advisory and research support for a high impact climate action and sustainability assignment tailored for corporate entities. If you thrive on solving complex environmental puzzles and want to influence global corporate behavior, this partnership is built for you.

Key Responsibilities

Provide expert advisory and research services focused on climate change, energy transition, and corporate sustainability.
Lead and support comprehensive carbon footprinting and greenhouse gas accounting initiatives.
Develop robust decarbonisation plans including science aligned target setting for corporate clients.
Review greenhouse gas inventories with meticulous attention to detail and methodology.
Perform technical assessments of emission reduction investments across multiple operational landscapes.
Apply deep knowledge of leading international climate standards and methodologies throughout the advisory process.

Requirements

Hold a university degree or an equivalent professional qualification in engineering, environmental science, climate change, or a closely related discipline.
Bring at least 10 years of solid professional experience in climate change, energy, or sustainability advisory and research.
Demonstrate a minimum of 4 focused years specifically working in carbon footprinting, greenhouse gas accounting, and emission reduction implementation.
Showcase hands on experience developing decarbonisation plans, reviewing inventories, or assessing reduction investments through at least 5 relevant projects.
Possess strong familiarity with international frameworks like the GHG Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard, the Science Based Targets Initiative, or the Transition Pathway Initiative.
