Healthcare moves quickly, but Medicare Advantage pharmacy services still leave a lot to be desired. Clover Health is setting out to change that story completely. We are looking for an entrepreneurial leader to step in as our General Manager, Pharmacy, driving our mission to elevate care outcomes, access, and daily medication management for members. This role is a fully remote, worldwide opportunity that empowers you to build an entire pharmacy business from scratch with significant operational autonomy and strategic support.

As the General Manager, you will assume end-to-end accountability for building, launching, and scaling our pharmacy model. You will oversee the P&L, lead licensing initiatives, and define the long-term operational roadmap while keeping quality and compliance at the center of everything we do.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day work centers on high-impact strategic leadership and execution across several key areas.

Take complete ownership of the pharmacy P&L, annual operating plan, capital priorities, and unit economics.
Drive the 0 to 1 build, steering everything from licensing and facilities to tech integration and fulfillment.
Select, negotiate with, and manage key external vendors and supply chain partners.
Build and guide a top-tier operational and clinical team dedicated to member health and safety.
Establish balanced performance scorecards tracking service quality, compliance, member experience, and rapid growth.
Partner with clinical and product leaders across Clover to ensure our pharmacy capabilities elevate the broader Medicare Advantage experience.

Requirements

We are searching for a seasoned operator who brings both high-level vision and tactical grit.

Demonstrated track record of senior leadership within pharmacy operations, health tech, or managed care environments.
Substantial experience owning P&L metrics and managing full operational budgets.
Familiarity with state board licensing procedures, Medicare Advantage regulations, and healthcare compliance requirements.
Proven history of taking complex operations from ground zero through launch and sustainable scaling.
Superb communication skills and the ability to rally diverse teams around complex operational goals.
