Monks is on the lookout for a talented Senior Full Stack Engineer. This is a fully remote position, open to candidates across the globe, allowing you to contribute from wherever you do your best work. You’ll be embedding with a dynamic squad, or perhaps helping launch a brand-new one, building features that make a tangible difference for our users. Key Responsibilities

Take full ownership of end-to-end feature delivery, spanning from initial UI/UX considerations to robust API and database design.
Develop and maintain highly scalable and responsive React interfaces that provide exceptional user experiences.
Architect and implement robust backend APIs, primarily utilizing NestJS and a PostgreSQL database.
Oversee integrations with various external services, employing our internal credential and token management systems to ensure security and efficiency.
Design and implement secure authentication and authorization flows, specifically focusing on OAuth.

Requirements

We're looking for someone who brings a strong blend of experience and enthusiasm to our team. Ideal candidates will demonstrate:

Proven experience as a Senior Full Stack Engineer, comfortable working across both front-end and back-end technologies.
Deep expertise in building and maintaining scalable applications with React.
Significant experience with Node.js frameworks, particularly NestJS, for API development.
Solid understanding and practical experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
A track record of designing and integrating secure third-party services using various authentication methods, including OAuth.
The ability to conceptualize, design, and deliver features independently, from initial idea to deployment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach to development within an agile environment.
