As a Forward Deployed Engineer focused on AI Security, you will immerse yourself in our customers' unique operational challenges, integrating, optimizing, and ensuring the success of F5's AI-driven security products. You'll work closely with product management and engineering, feeding critical insights directly back into our development cycle. This role offers the unique chance to be at the forefront of AI innovation in cybersecurity, protecting businesses from emerging threats and enabling them to focus on what they do best.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a primary technical point of contact for strategic customers, guiding them through the integration and deployment of F5's AI security products.
Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues encountered during product implementation and operation, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Collaborate intimately with product and engineering teams, translating customer feedback and market needs into actionable insights for future product enhancements and new features.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, best practices, and playbooks to support customer success and internal knowledge sharing.
Conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and training sessions for customers, empowering them to maximize the value of F5's AI security solutions.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of F5's AI security offerings by staying abreast of industry trends, threat landscapes, and emerging technologies.
Design and implement proof-of-concept solutions, showcasing the adaptability and power of F5's AI security capabilities in diverse customer environments.

Requirements

Several years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as a Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Consultant, ideally within cybersecurity.
A strong understanding of AI and Machine Learning principles, particularly as they apply to security use cases like fraud detection, anomaly detection, or threat intelligence.
Proficiency with common cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Demonstrable experience with APIs, scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go), and automation tools.
Familiarity with various security domains including application security, network security, data security, and identity and access management.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a talent for explaining complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is typically expected, or equivalent practical experience.
