Overview

As a Forward Deployed Engineer on our Enterprise Solutions team, you will sit right at the intersection of product, engineering, and client success. You are going to build custom solutions, integrate our robust API platforms, and help our retail partners leverage the full power of Instacart technology. This is not your average desk job. You will be hands on with code, architecting scalable systems, and traveling occasionally to collaborate closely with major enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy custom technical integrations for high profile retail enterprise partners.
Write clean, production ready code to solve complex, real world distributed systems problems.
Act as the primary technical point of contact during client onboarding, troubleshooting issues quickly and effectively.
Collaborate with internal product and engineering teams to feed client insights back into our core product roadmap.
Build internal tooling and automation to streamline future deployments and reduce friction.

Requirements

Strong software engineering background with proficiency in languages like Python, Go, Java, or JavaScript.
Demonstrated experience building, deploying, and maintaining scalable distributed systems or cloud native applications.
Exceptional communication skills with a proven track record of working directly with external stakeholders or clients.
