The Role: Floor Sales Executive
As a Floor Sales Executive, you will be the face of SIMS Nigeria. You will play a pivotal role in delivering a transformational retail customer experience, converting showroom visitors into loyal brand advocates, and directly driving the business’s revenue growth. This is not just a sales job; it is an opportunity to manage relationships, solve problems, and elevate the retail experience for every single walk-in customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Exceptional Customer Experiences: Welcome and engage showroom visitors warmly, ensuring their in-store experience aligns with the high standards of the SIMS brand.
- Drive Conversions and Sales: Actively guide customers through our product range, offer tailored recommendations based on their needs, and effectively close sales to meet or exceed assigned targets.
- Customer Relationship Management: Professionally and empathetically manage inquiries, resolve issues raised by dissatisfied or irate customers, and ensure swift resolution of post-purchase complaints.
- Compliance & Standard Operations: Maintain high standards of showroom presentation and ensure strict compliance with established standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all showroom operations.
Required Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
To succeed in this role, you must be a motivated team player who genuinely enjoys interacting with people and possesses strong persuasive communication skills. The ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Minimum of a Second Class Lower (2nd Class) HND, B.Sc, or BA degree in any discipline.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of professional work experience. Prior experience in retail sales or consumer electronics is a significant advantage.
- Gender Balance: This position is preferred for female candidates to encourage gender balance across our retail showrooms.
- Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding communication and active listening skills, with a genuine curiosity and interest in helping people.
- Sales Acumen: Proven ability to demonstrate strong selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
