Role Overview

As a Firefighting Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and operational integrity of our fire protection systems. You will be responsible for the installation, inspection, and maintenance of various fire suppression systems, including sprinklers, dry standpipe systems, and commercial kitchen fire systems, in strict accordance with FPAN standards.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Maintenance: Install, repair, and service fire extinguishers, commercial kitchen fire systems, and commercial fire sprinkler systems.
Technical Expertise: Read and interpret blueprints while collaborating effectively with electrical and plumbing teams.
System Troubleshooting: Act as a subject matter expert to identify and resolve complex hardware and software issues within security and fire systems.
Operational Safety: Perform work at heights using ladders, scaffolding, and lifts; maintain strict adherence to PPE and respiratory safety protocols.
System Testing: Conduct rigorous testing of fire department hose lines, fire alarms, and suppression systems, providing formal documentation of findings.
Professional Leadership: Provide tactical guidance, training, and technical support to subordinates to ensure project standards are met.
