Job Summary

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for safety and technical precision? Ocean Crest Technologies Limited is seeking a dedicated Fire Extinguisher Technician to join our high-performing team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, inspecting, and repairing fire safety systems (including fire extinguishers and fire alarms) to ensure absolute safety, functionality, and full regulatory compliance across our projects and client sites.

Key Responsibilities

As a Fire Safety/Extinguisher Technician, your daily operations will include but are not limited to:

Installation and Setup: Correctly positioning, mounting, and installing fire extinguishers, alarms, and associated safety equipment in compliance with building codes and engineering plans.
Inspection and Maintenance: Conducting routine inspections, pressure testing, hydrostatic testing, recharging, and maintenance of various types of fire extinguishers.
Diagnostics and Repairs: Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions in safety alarm panels, wiring, sensors, and physical extinguishing hardware.
Compliance & Quality Control: Ensuring all fire protection systems meet rigorous local safety standards and international regulations (e.g., NFPA standards).
Documentation: Keeping precise, up-to-date logs of all inspections, service actions, inventory used, and client certifications.
Client Education: Briefly demonstrating and explaining the proper handling of fire extinguishers and safety protocols to clients and onsite personnel.

Key Qualifications and Skills

Practical technical background, vocational training, or certification in Fire Protection Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Proven experience as a Fire Safety Technician, Fire Alarm Technician, or similar technical hands-on role.
Strong knowledge of fire dynamics, extinguishing agents, fire alarm systems, and safety code compliance.
Excellent manual dexterity, problem-solving capabilities, and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and a customer-centric mindset.
