Overview

Key Responsibilities

Execute timely and high-quality month-end and year-end closing activities for assigned companies, meticulously maintaining accurate local and group financial records.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all financial matters within your local entities, always ensuring strict compliance with all applicable regulations and internal policies.
Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts and profit and loss statements, providing insightful analysis and explanations for variances.
Ensure the integrity of the general ledger, overseeing postings and reconciliations to guarantee financial data accuracy.
Support internal and external audit processes, preparing necessary documentation and providing clear explanations to auditors.
Collaborate with local and global teams to implement and maintain robust internal controls, enhancing efficiency and mitigating risks.
Provide expert guidance on complex accounting issues, ensuring adherence to IFRS and local GAAP.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function, identifying opportunities for process optimization and standardization.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is essential.
Possession of a professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent designation is highly preferred.
You should bring at least 5 years of progressive experience in financial controlling, accounting, or audit, ideally within a global or multi-entity environment.
Demonstrated expert knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and various local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Proficiency with large ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required.
Exceptional analytical abilities, keen attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving define your work style.
You must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with stakeholders across different levels and cultures remotely.
