Overview
Accelerating Appalachia (ACAP), founded in 2013, champions the development of resilient regenerative supply chains and local economies across an eight-state southeastern region. We work directly with producers, particularly those identified as historically underserved by the USDA, connecting them with technical assistance, financial resources, and crucial market opportunities. Beyond supporting individual farmers, ACAP also accelerates regional growth-stage regenerative companies in food, fiber, and forest products. Our significant 2023 initiative, Building Appalachian Agricultural Resilience (BAAR), incentivizes regenerative practices across eight states, backed by an $18 million USDA Farmer Fund. As our Finance Manager, you will be pivotal in overseeing ACAP's overall fiscal health and ensuring the seamless operation of our financial systems.
