Overview

This pivotal position is crafted for an experienced Finance Manager eager to support our Global Controllership team. You will be instrumental in ensuring the financial health and compliance of our European entities, focusing particularly on Germany. This means taking charge of crucial audits, managing intricate reporting needs, and upholding the highest standards of financial integrity for a company at the forefront of technological innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Audit Leadership: Lead local statutory audits with precision, ensuring comprehensive audit readiness and overseeing the timely completion of financial statements. This includes managing all auditor requests efficiently.
Reporting and Tax Compliance: Oversee and manage timelines for all local statutory filings across our various European entities, maintaining strict compliance.
Month-End Close: Collaborate closely with both the Europe Controllership and FP&A teams to expertly manage the month-end close process, reviewing all work under tight deadlines.
Internal Controls: Take ownership of key SOX controls and actively contribute to implementing robust internal control frameworks. These efforts are crucial for mitigating fraud risk and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with regional finance teams and our India Shared Services Team, fostering collaboration to ensure consistently accurate financial reporting.
Occasional ad hoc travel to Germany may be required to support critical in-person activities.

Requirements

To thrive in this role, you will bring a strong background in finance and accounting, ideally possessing a relevant professional qualification like a CPA or ACCA. Your experience should include leading statutory audits for complex, multi-entity organizations, particularly within a European context. We value deep expertise in IFRS or local GAAP, coupled with a solid understanding of SOX controls and compliance frameworks. You should be adept at managing tight deadlines, demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills are essential for collaborating with diverse teams across different regions.
