The Role

As a Field Service Technician, you will be the backbone of our site operations. Your primary objective is to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our power assets, including solar panels, battery storage, inverters, and hybrid generator sets. You will spend approximately 95% of your time in the field, making this an ideal role for professionals who enjoy hands-on work and troubleshooting complex technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Maintenance: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on power assets to ensure maximum system reliability.
Technical Support: Conduct on-site diagnostics and resolve system faults to maintain uptime targets of 99% or higher.
QHSE Compliance: Maintain the highest standards of safety, ensuring all activities comply with quality, health, and environmental regulations.
Documentation: Keep accurate service logs and reports to ensure seamless communication with the NOC and project teams.
Team Collaboration: Coordinate with engineers and project managers to streamline service delivery and system commissioning.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

Education: OND or HND in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: 1-2 years of hands-on experience in power systems maintenance. Experience with renewable energy systems is highly valued.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading technical schematics, electrical safety standards, and Microsoft Office tools.
Soft Skills: Strong communication abilities, a high sense of responsibility, and the capacity to thrive under pressure.
Physicality: Ability to work in outdoor environments, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 20kg.
