Key Responsibilities

As a Performance Suite Medical Director in Medical Oncology, you will play a pivotal role in advancing value-based care models. Your work will prioritize clinical excellence, patient-centered outcomes, and system-wide impact. In this dynamic role, you will:

Provide expert medical leadership and guidance for our oncology performance suite, driving the evolution of care delivery.
Develop and implement innovative clinical strategies that align with value-based care principles, focusing on quality and cost-effectiveness.
Engage with healthcare providers, health plans, and other key stakeholders to foster collaboration and promote adoption of best practices.
Oversee clinical program development, ensuring evidence-based approaches are integrated into our oncology solutions.
Analyze clinical data and outcomes, using insights to refine programs and improve patient care pathways.
Serve as a clinical subject matter expert for internal teams and external partners, representing Evolent's commitment to excellence in oncology.
Champion patient advocacy, ensuring that all initiatives maintain a strong focus on the patient experience and personalized care.

Requirements

We are looking for a visionary medical leader with a profound commitment to oncology care transformation. To thrive in this role, you should possess:

A Medical Doctor (MD) degree from an accredited institution.
Board Certification in Medical Oncology.
Significant clinical practice experience in oncology, demonstrating a deep understanding of patient needs and treatment modalities.
Proven experience in value-based care models, population health management, or healthcare quality improvement initiatives.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and collaborating with diverse groups.
Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex clinical data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
A proactive and adaptable mindset, comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, remote environment.
