Role Overview

The Hotel Facility Manager will take ownership of the maintenance, operation, and ongoing improvement of our hotel's infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring that all systems—from HVAC and power supply to general building upkeep—are functioning optimally, safely, and in full compliance with regulatory standards. By leading a dedicated maintenance team and managing vendor relationships, you will ensure our guests experience a seamless, world-class environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership: Plan and supervise daily maintenance activities across all hotel facilities, including guest rooms, kitchens, and public areas.
Technical Oversight: Manage complex building systems such as electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and HVAC.
Team Management: Lead, schedule, and mentor maintenance staff to ensure high-performance service delivery.
Strategic Planning: Manage maintenance budgets, monitor utility consumption, and spearhead energy conservation initiatives.
Vendor Coordination: Manage external contractors for specialized repairs and major refurbishment projects.
Compliance & Safety: Maintain rigorous standards for health, safety, and fire regulations to ensure a secure environment for both guests and staff.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in Facilities Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
Experience: 3–5 years of facilities or engineering management experience, ideally within the hospitality sector.
Technical Competencies: Strong working knowledge of critical building systems and proficiency in maintenance management software.
Professionalism: Excellent leadership skills, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
Advantageous: Professional certifications in facilities management, project management, or HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment).
