Overview
This is a 100 percent free, remote apprenticeship designed to take you from beginner status to a confident professional ready for hiring managers. You will work on a startup idea of your choice, driving the entire product design and research process from scratch. Our ultimate mission is empowering women, immigrants, people of color, and LGBTQ individuals to secure high paying roles in tech, backed by our commitment to coach you until you land that job.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute end to end UX design, UX research, and product design deliverables for a startup concept you choose.
- Collaborate closely with mentors to iterate on your designs and refine your professional portfolio.
- Dedicate consistent weekly focus toward building case studies that genuinely attract top hiring managers.
- Engage actively in program sessions and community discussions to accelerate your growth.
Requirements
- A genuine passion for creative career paths in UX research, UX design, product design, or service design.
- Availability to commit five to ten hours of work per week to complete program deliverables.
- Openness to learning, receiving direct feedback, and growing alongside a diverse cohort of peers.
- No prior professional tech experience is required, making this ideal for career changers and recent graduates.
