The Role
As a Reliability Engineer III, you will serve as a strategic leader responsible for identifying and managing asset reliability risks across the product lifecycle. This is a critical role that balances maintenance program design, loss elimination, and lifecycle asset management. You will act as a subject matter expert, facilitating processes that drive production availability and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert on cause-and-effect methodology to drive problem resolution.
- Manage production availability threats and maintain a comprehensive threats database.
- Analyze unit performance data and benchmark equipment against industry standards.
- Identify high-impact opportunities for capacity utilization and risk mitigation.
- Lead complex technical projects and incorporate industry advancements into facility operations.
- Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance to senior engineering leadership.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated technical expertise in one or more reliability categories.
- Proven business acumen with a history of delivering high-value contributions.
- Strong data manipulation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and apply innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Previous experience working with multiple client companies or industry associations is highly preferred.
