The Role
The Materials Lead III plays a critical role in our project success. You will be responsible for managing and expediting the flow of essential materials, equipment, parts, and assemblies. By coordinating between internal and external departments, you will ensure that project schedules are met with precision and that all logistics are handled with the highest standard of efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Management: Oversee the maintenance of accurate manual and computerized records, including inventory, shipping, delivery, and storage reports.
- Logistical Coordination: Monitor and manage the seamless transport of materials across various departments and site locations.
- Equipment Oversight: Coordinate the necessary arrangements for the repair, maintenance, and assembly of company-provided assets.
- Operational Support: Execute additional directives from Project and Site Managers to ensure project delivery timelines are achieved.
Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for a professional who possesses a blend of technical expertise and leadership capabilities:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related field.
- Industry Expertise: Proven work experience within the Oil and Gas sector.
- Technical Proficiency: Extensive knowledge of SAP material catalogs, search tools, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
- Operational Knowledge: Strong understanding of quality control systems, plant-level material usage, and industry-specific equipment.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, advanced communication skills, superior time management, and the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
