Engineering Manager - EU
Imagine an engineering world where your team isn't just coding features, but actively shaping the product, writing specs, and making key design choices. Where projects aren't diced into tiny tickets, but owned holistically from concept to completion. I'm Colin, Director of Engineering for Europe at Ashby, and if that vision sparks excitement, perhaps even a healthy challenge, then you might be the Engineering Manager we need. We're building a truly different engineering culture at Ashby, one that champions autonomy and trusts engineers to innovate freely, free from the bureaucratic hurdles that often stifle progress elsewhere.
Overview
Time and again, we've seen brilliant engineers held back by rigid processes or endless requests for "more data." At Ashby, we're flipping that script. We believe in an optimistic approach, empowering our engineers to take complete ownership, just like the most impactful skunkworks projects you might have witnessed. We're creating an environment where innovative minds thrive, where we step aside and let them build. This is a role that is fully remote, specifically for candidates residing within the European Union, offering a chance to make a profound impact on how we build our product, a product that is world class, regardless of your physical location within the EU.
