We are looking for an Engineering Lead who loves to solve genuinely difficult problems and naturally elevates the engineers working right alongside them. This is a fully remote role open to talented builders anywhere in the world. You will own the technical direction for major systems, meaning you get to shape our architecture while still staying close to the code.

Key Responsibilities

Own the complete technical design and execution lifecycle for major products, systems, and core engineering initiatives.
Architect scalable and reliable solutions spanning backend services, frontend applications, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
Write production code, build prototypes, run rigorous code reviews, debug complex issues, and lead from the front.
Make critical architecture decisions while balancing speed, scalability, reliability, cost, and long-term maintainability.
Translate vague product ideas into crystal clear technical solutions and actionable execution roadmaps.
Elevate overall engineering quality by championing robust system design, automated testing, security standards, and observability practices.
Take charge of technically critical initiatives while actively mentoring and developing the engineers on your team.

Requirements

You should have a proven track record of designing and shipping complex distributed systems at scale. Strong hands-on coding expertise across multiple layers of the technology stack is essential. You need to be comfortable translating ambiguous business requirements into solid technical architecture. Great communication skills, empathy for your teammates, and a passion for mentoring other developers are also crucial for success in this position.
