About the Role
ABNL Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced Drilling Project OI Advisor III to join their esteemed team. Established in 1992, ABNL Limited has solidified its reputation as a leading indigenous Oil and Gas servicing firm in Nigeria and the West African sub-region. We are looking for a professional committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, security, health, and environmental (SSHE) integrity in our drilling operations.
Key Responsibilities
As a Drilling Project OI Advisor, you will act as the primary point of contact for SSHE-related matters. Your mandate includes:
- Providing SSHE representation for projects, including rig sites and transport operations.
- Developing, maintaining, and overseeing site orientation, induction programs, and emergency management plans.
- Monitoring contractor compliance with internal Drilling SSHE requirements.
- Conducting rigorous site inspections, system audits, and incident investigations.
- Facilitating Drill Team SSHE safety steering committees and identifying trends to promote an injury-free work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will demonstrate a blend of technical expertise and strong leadership capabilities, including:
- A Bachelor’s degree and/or significant prior experience in a closely related position.
- Extensive knowledge of drilling operations, processes, and international safety regulations.
- Exceptional networking, communication, and interpersonal skills to influence diverse teams.
- Proven ability to thrive in challenging, remote, or harsh offshore/onshore environments.
- Technical proficiency in the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of site inspections, including climbing, standing for extended periods, and traversing industrial surfaces.
