Energy Integration Manager, Fully Remote
Imagine being at the heart of Meta's massive energy operations, where every strategic decision shapes our future power footprint. Our energy demands are growing at an incredible pace, creating both an immense challenge and a unique opportunity to redefine how we manage our vast global portfolio. While we boast world-class specialists in data, analytics, asset management, and energy origination, the essential connective tissue between these brilliant minds, a unified view of our portfolio's health, and the agile operating rhythm to translate insights into confident procurement decisions are still evolving. If you are someone who thrives on connecting complex systems, transforming fragmented information into clear, actionable intelligence, and enabling teams to operate with unparalleled speed and clarity, then this is your chance to make a profound, company-wide impact.
Overview
At Meta, our energy consumption is scaling faster than any single team can comprehensively assess. We have deep specialist strength across data, analytics, asset management, and energy origination, but the crucial links between them, the shared view of portfolio health, and the operational cadence that converts signals into procurement decisions are still maturing. This pivotal role is dedicated to forging those vital connections.
As our Energy Integration Manager, you will be a true force-multiplier for the entire Energy organization. You will take ownership of how our teams' data, critical decisions, and daily execution converge into one unified, trusted, and AI-accelerated view of our portfolio's health. This empowers faster, sharper, and more confident energy procurement at scale. This role is explicitly complementary to our specialist teams; it does not replace their expert judgment or own their specific functions, rather it makes each of them faster, more connected, and more visible to leadership. This is a fully remote, worldwide opportunity, allowing you to contribute from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate energy data across the organization by partnering closely with data and analytics teams. You will connect fragmented sources into a coherent, decision-grade portfolio picture, defining the shared data model, common definitions, and a single source of truth that asset management, origination, and wholesale teams all rely upon.
- Design and implement robust reporting frameworks, providing leadership with clear, timely, and actionable insights into portfolio performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Establish and refine a streamlined operating cadence for energy procurement decisions, ensuring a consistent and efficient process from data signal to execution.
- Drive the adoption and integration of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) tools to enhance forecasting, scenario planning, and real-time decision support for energy procurement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, finance, legal, and other internal stakeholders to align energy strategy with broader company goals and infrastructure development.
- Identify process bottlenecks and data gaps, proactively proposing and leading initiatives to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability within the energy organization.
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement across all energy-related functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, engineering, economics, or a related discipline.
- Over 5 years of professional experience in the energy sector, specifically within power markets, renewable energy development, or energy analytics.
- Demonstrated expertise in data integration, data modeling, and developing robust analytical frameworks.
- Proven track record of partnering with data science or analytics teams to build decision-grade data products and dashboards.
- Strong understanding of energy procurement processes, power market dynamics, and energy asset management principles.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Experience managing complex projects or programs involving multiple stakeholders and significant data components.
- A passion for sustainability and a desire to contribute to Meta's ambitious renewable energy goals.
What You'll Gain
- The unique opportunity to shape Meta's global energy strategy and contribute to one of the world's largest renewable energy portfolios.
- Work at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and sustainable energy, directly impacting our planet's future.
- Collaborate with brilliant minds across a diverse, global organization.
- Significant professional growth and development in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- The flexibility and autonomy of a fully remote, worldwide role.
- Influence strategic decisions at the highest levels of Meta, helping to secure a sustainable energy future for our data centers and operations.
