Job Objective
The primary focus of this role is to drive maximum performance within assigned timelines, ensuring all performance targets are met and comprehensive progress reports are generated. The successful candidate will also guarantee that all generating sets are wired to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will play a crucial part in the assembly and customization of power generation equipment. Your daily duties will include:
- Customizing electrical panels and providing technical services for automation metal structures.
- Assembling equipment in accordance with precise customer specifications.
- Marking and drilling designated areas on panel structures accurately.
- Designing, building, repairing, and maintaining complex panel layouts.
- Wiring various components systematically as outlined in technical wiring diagrams.
- Installing crucial electrical components such as contactors, cables, digital meters, indicator lamps, and copper busbars.
- Organizing and positioning all internal panel components correctly to optimize functionality.
- Identifying and matching appropriate circuit breakers for different panel designs.
Requirements & Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Education: A Trade Test Certificate, National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working within a reputable generator manufacturing or servicing company.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in interpreting wiring diagrams, drawing panel designs, and identifying electrical breakers.
- Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, exceptional reporting capabilities, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Physical Attributes: Excellent eyesight and strong attention to detail.
