About the Role
As a key member of our training faculty, you will be responsible for designing and delivering high-impact, hands-on training programs. You will bridge the gap between complex engineering theory and real-world field application, ensuring that professionals across various sectors gain the practical skills necessary for success in today’s demanding industrial landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Design: Develop comprehensive training curricula covering electrical systems, control and instrumentation, power distribution, PLC basics, and essential safety practices.
- Facilitation: Deliver engaging classroom and practical workshop sessions tailored to corporate and individual clients.
- Material Development: Create high-quality training manuals, case studies, and assessment tools.
- Performance Evaluation: Conduct competency assessments to ensure trainees reach established milestones.
- Industry Compliance: Stay current with global standards like IEC, IEEE, and NEC, ensuring all training adheres to rigorous HSE standards.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support the continuous improvement of training modules.
Requirements
- B.Eng., B.Sc., or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field (an M.Sc. is considered an advantage).
- A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering, ideally within the oil and gas, power, or manufacturing sectors.
- Prior experience in training, facilitation, or mentorship is highly desirable.
- Deep expertise in electrical control systems, instrumentation calibration, panel wiring, and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear instructions.
- Professional certifications such as COREN or IET are preferred.
