We are currently seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer to play a pivotal role in our ambitious Ethane-to-Polymers (E2P) Project. This role is central to ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of all electrical systems throughout the project lifecycle, from initial design to final commissioning.
The Role: Electrical Engineer
As an Electrical Engineer at SEEPCO, you will be instrumental in the successful execution of the E2P Project. Your expertise will be crucial in the design, rigorous review, precise installation, thorough testing, and successful commissioning of complex electrical systems. You will also provide essential technical support, ensuring all systems adhere to stringent project specifications, international standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Preparing and meticulously reviewing electrical engineering designs, specifications, drawings, and comprehensive calculations.
- Designing and providing robust support for High, Medium, and Low Voltage (HV/MV/LV) power distribution systems.
- Critically reviewing Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), detailed load schedules, cable layouts, and equipment datasheets.
- Performing or reviewing critical power system studies, including load flow analysis, short circuit calculations, protection coordination, and precise cable sizing.
- Supporting the specification, procurement, and technical evaluation of a wide range of electrical equipment, such as transformers, switchgear, MCCs, motors, VFDs, UPS systems, and generators.
- Coordinating seamlessly with Process, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Civil, and Construction teams to ensure effective and integrated project execution.
- Providing expert engineering support throughout the construction, installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, and performance testing phases of the project.
Qualifications and Experience:
We are looking for candidates who possess a strong foundational education and significant industry experience:
- Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 6–10 years of progressive electrical engineering experience, specifically within petrochemical, refinery, LNG, gas processing, or other chemical industries.
