The Role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the end-to-end lifecycle of electrical systems. From initial design and load calculations to final testing, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance, your expertise will ensure that all infrastructure meets the highest safety and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Planning: Develop comprehensive electrical systems, power distribution networks, and control systems backed by precise technical specifications.
- Project Oversight: Supervise site installations, conduct thorough inspections, and ensure all work adheres to rigorous engineering standards and HSE policies.
- Troubleshooting: Act as a technical expert to diagnose electrical faults and implement efficient, long-term corrective solutions.
- Team Coordination: Serve as a central point of contact, liaising with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and clients to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Documentation: Manage technical proposals, cost estimates, and project reporting to maintain transparency and quality assurance.
What We Are Looking For
- Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree (B.Eng. / B.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 6 years of hands-on professional experience in the engineering sector.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of AutoCAD, ETAP, Dialux, and MS Office is essential.
- Professional Growth: Membership with relevant bodies like COREN or NSE is considered a significant advantage.
