Career Opportunity: Drill Team Quality Representative Coordinator III at Kimeric Nigeria Limited
Kimeric Nigeria Limited, a leading provider of premium onshore and offshore supply and engineering services to the Oil and Gas sector in Nigeria and the West Africa sub-region, is currently seeking a highly skilled Drill Team Quality Representative Coordinator III. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our well construction activities meet the highest industry benchmarks through rigorous quality assurance and control.
The Role
As a Level 3 Coordinator, you will serve as an expert within the discipline, playing a critical role in both the planning and execution phases of drilling and completion operations. You will be responsible for stewarding the Drill Team Quality Plan and maintaining the integrity of our quality event databases. Furthermore, you will act as a mentor, providing guidance and training to quality team members and drill team engineers to ensure operational excellence across the board.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead QA and QC functions throughout all phases of well construction.
- Oversee the quality standards of equipment and services provided by third-party Drilling Service Companies and Rig Contractors.
- Ensure 100% data integrity within the quality event database.
- Mentor and train team members to elevate the collective technical expertise of the drill team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology from a recognized institution, or equivalent extensive experience.
- Strong background in oilfield-related work, specifically in Drilling and Completions Engineering or Operations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards including API Standards, API Spec Q1/Q2, ISO 9001, ASNT, and NACE.
- Proficiency in ASNT inspection practices and T.H. Hill DS-1 drill string inspections.
- Completion of an ISO 9001 Lead Course.
- Proven ability to influence others, manage complex programs, and communicate effectively through professional business writing.
