Overview

At SimpliFed, we are undergoing significant evolution, rapidly enhancing our operational capabilities to support our mission. This pivotal role places you at the heart of our financial infrastructure. We are actively migrating to a new Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, Healthie, while simultaneously rebuilding our configuration within Candid Health. A critical part of your mission will be establishing a pristine, reliable data foundation that underpins both systems. This is more than just managing; it is about architectural design and execution. We are searching for an authentic RCM expert, someone who has firsthand experience configuring payer rules, meticulously addressing denials, confidently forecasting cash flow, and can readily identify areas for improvement within our current setup. You will serve as the company's definitive authority on revenue cycle processes, empowered with the mandate to lead and innovate.

Key Responsibilities

Own the comprehensive, end-to-end revenue cycle, encompassing eligibility and benefits verification, precise charge capture, accurate coding, efficient claim submission, proactive denial management, thorough appeals processes, diligent AR follow-up, clear patient billing, and timely cash posting.
Lead the critical build and configuration of our revenue cycle processes within Candid Health.
Direct the migration to our new EHR system, Healthie, ensuring a seamless transition and optimal setup.
Architect and maintain a clean, trustworthy data foundation across all revenue cycle systems.
Develop and implement robust operating rhythms and best practices for all RCM functions.
Serve as SimpliFed’s internal subject matter expert, providing strategic guidance and practical solutions for all revenue cycle challenges.
Analyze current processes, identify inefficiencies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize financial performance.

Requirements

Proven leadership experience within Revenue Cycle Management, demonstrating a track record of success.
Deep, hands-on expertise with all facets of the revenue cycle, including personally configuring payer rules, managing complex denials, and presenting cash forecasts.
Prior experience leading or significantly contributing to EHR system migrations and implementations is essential.
Familiarity with revenue cycle optimization platforms, ideally Candid Health, or similar robust solutions.
A strong analytical mindset with the ability to build and maintain data integrity and robust reporting.
Exceptional communication skills, capable of explaining complex RCM concepts to diverse audiences and driving consensus.
A proactive problem solver who can quickly diagnose RCM issues and implement effective, sustainable solutions.
