Overview

As our Director, People Operations, you will lead the strategic operating model, ensure top-tier service delivery, and champion continuous improvement across all facets of People Operations and Talent Acquisition operations. This critical, fully remote, worldwide opportunity involves reporting directly to the Senior Director, People Operations. You will guide a comprehensive portfolio covering global People Operations, Talent Acquisition Operations, enhancing the employee and candidate experience, managing compliance-related workflows, establishing operational governance, and developing team capabilities within our expanding global organization. Your expertise will be vital in translating LaunchDarkly's business and People priorities into clear ownership, scalable processes, strong controls, and a reliable operating rhythm that truly makes a difference. You will also work closely with our Director, People Programs, Systems & Analytics, owning the operational outcomes, service delivery, process execution, and crucial stakeholder partnerships that bring our integrated People operating model to life.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and continuously optimize the operating model and service delivery for global People Operations and Talent Acquisition operations, spanning the full employee and candidate lifecycles.
Oversee a diverse portfolio including global People Operations, Talent Acquisition Operations, and initiatives designed to enhance the employee and candidate experience.
Manage compliance-related workflows and establish robust operational governance across the People function.
Develop and strengthen the capabilities of the People Operations team, ensuring readiness for sustained growth and evolving demands.
Translate high-level business and People priorities into actionable plans, clearly defined ownership, and highly scalable processes.
Implement and maintain strong operational controls and a consistent, reliable operating rhythm to support our global workforce.
Foster strong partnerships with stakeholders across the organization, ensuring People Operations effectively supports broader company goals.
Collaborate closely with the Director, People Programs, Systems & Analytics to ensure a cohesive and integrated People operating model, focusing on practical execution and seamless service delivery.

Requirements

Proven leadership experience at a Director level or equivalent, specifically in People Operations or Talent Acquisition Operations, preferably within a fast-paced, global technology environment.
Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and optimize scalable operational processes and controls for a growing organization.
Strong understanding of global HR compliance and best practices.
Exceptional analytical skills with a track record of translating data and strategic priorities into actionable operational plans.
