Overview
Numbers tell a story, but at TheKey, they also help seniors live safer, more dignified lives at home. We are searching for an experienced Director of FP&A to steer our financial planning and guide critical strategic choices across our rapidly growing organization. If you thrive on turning complex operational data into actionable roadmaps and want your daily work to have genuine human purpose, this fully remote, worldwide role gives you that platform.
For nearly twenty years, TheKey has reimagined what aging at home can look like. What started as a single Silicon Valley location has expanded across North America, pairing clinical rigor with concierge-level care. As our Director of FP&A, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, bringing clarity to our capital allocation, multi-site forecasts, and long-term operational investments.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, your core focus areas will include the following day-to-day priorities.
- Lead annual budgeting, monthly forecasting cycles, and multi-year strategic financial planning across all regional operations.
- Develop dynamic financial models to evaluate new market entries, service expansions, and operational investments.
- Translate variance analyses and unit economics into clear, digestible narratives for clinical and operational leaders who do not speak finance.
- Partner with our executive leadership team to define key performance indicators and improve operational margins.
- Modernize reporting infrastructure by standardizing datasets and introducing automated business intelligence workflows.
- Mentor financial analysts and cultivate a culture of analytical rigor, speed, and continuous curiosity.
Requirements
We are looking for seasoned finance leaders who bring both deep technical chops and exceptional business intuition.
- Extensive background leading corporate FP&A teams, ideally within multi-site operations, healthcare, home care, or distributed services.
- Proven expertise in building complex, error-free financial models and running sophisticated scenario analyses.
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline. Advanced credentials like an MBA or CPA are strongly preferred.
- Deep familiarity with modern ERP systems, enterprise planning software, and business intelligence platforms.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with an innate ability to influence senior stakeholders without relying on jargon.
- Demonstrated capability to manage time, lead cross-functional initiatives, and stay organized in an autonomous, fully remote environment.
What You Will Gain
Joining TheKey means stepping into a leadership position where your analytical voice carries substantial weight. You will enjoy total location flexibility, working from anywhere around the globe with a distributed team that values empathy, initiative, and work-life harmony. Alongside an executive-tier compensation package, you will experience the deep satisfaction of knowing your strategic forecasts directly support better care for aging adults and peace of mind for their families.
