As our Director of Finance at Playbook, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will take the reins of our fiscal architecture and guide high stakes operational planning. This is a fully remote, worldwide opportunity designed for a leader ready to build scalable systems from anywhere across the globe.

You will oversee accounting, financial planning, and cross functional analysis. Instead of just managing basic ledger entries, your daily focus will center on automating workflows across tools like NetSuite, Stripe, and Brex, modernizing our budgeting cadence, and delivering clear predictive models that help leadership chart our collective future.

Key Responsibilities

Your work will balance big picture strategic roadmapping with hands on operational execution. In this role, you will take ownership of several critical focus areas.

Lead all financial and accounting operations while establishing a dependable, repeatable 10 day monthly close schedule.
Partner directly with executive leadership to drive annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long term financial planning.
Accelerate software integrations across Playbook OS, NetSuite, Stripe, and Brex to automate recurring transactional tasks.
Build reliable predictive scenario models and executive dashboards that illuminate growth levers and cost efficiencies.
Instill smart budgeting discipline across all departments without slowing down company velocity.
Establish clean internal controls and audit ready reporting standards that scale seamlessly with our expansion.

Requirements

We need a curious, analytical leader who thrives in fast moving environments. You will be a strong candidate if you bring the following background.

Extensive background leading corporate finance, financial planning, and accounting operations.
Demonstrated success establishing streamlined monthly close cadences and scaling financial teams.
Deep hands on familiarity with modern SaaS tools such as NetSuite, Stripe, and Brex.
Advanced quantitative financial modeling capabilities with the talent to translate raw metrics into compelling narratives.
Comfort taking ownership and working autonomously in an asynchronous remote organization.
Superb communication skills and a collaborative approach to partnering across diverse business units.
