We are searching for a highly skilled Director I, Data Science, to join our Enterprise Data & Data Science team. This pivotal role involves identifying, evaluating, and developing sophisticated solutions where data science, generative AI, and our overarching enterprise data strategy converge. Imagine yourself crafting GenAI evaluation frameworks and establishing semantic data layers that empower our entire organization. You will also serve as a crucial community champion, inspiring the adoption of leading practices throughout our extensive and cooperative data science organization. Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and rigorously evaluate generative AI solutions and complex agentic systems.
Develop and meticulously maintain data semantic layers and knowledge graphs for enterprise-scale data accessibility.
Create robust evaluation frameworks and tools designed to assess GenAI systems' performance, reliability, and safety.
Collaborate closely with fellow data scientists, machine learning engineers, data engineers, and diverse business partners.
Champion best practices and tooling, fostering a culture of excellence across our broad data science community.
Lead cross-functional working groups and actively contribute to groundbreaking innovation in AI/ML methods.
Communicate intricate technical findings with clarity and precision to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

To excel in this Director I role, we are looking for a professional with a proven track record and a passion for pushing boundaries.

Deep, hands-on expertise in data science, MLOps, and the end-to-end development of Generative AI solutions.
Demonstrated experience identifying, evaluating, and implementing GenAI solutions within an enterprise context.
Proficiency in developing GenAI evaluation frameworks and establishing semantic data layers.
Exceptional collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and with various stakeholders.
A strong desire to champion best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement within a large data science community.
Experience leading working groups and driving innovation in advanced AI/ML methodologies.
Outstanding communication abilities, translating complex technical insights into understandable narratives for all audiences.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
