Overview

As our Director of EHS and S for the Americas, you will lead the charge in advancing environmental, health, safety, and sustainability programs across North America. Reporting directly to the Vice President of EHS and S, you will act as a vital bridge between high level corporate strategy and daily operational excellence. You will manage regional teams, champion safety initiatives, and ensure that our business objectives go hand in hand with robust environmental stewardship.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive EHS and S strategies throughout the Americas region.
Drive strict regulatory compliance and proactive risk mitigation across all sites.
Lead cultural transformations that prioritize employee safety and operational well-being.
Advance corporate sustainability objectives while aligning regional priorities with global goals.
Mentor regional teams and foster an environment of continuous improvement.

Requirements

A Bachelor degree in EHS, Engineering, or a related field.
Between 10 and 15 years or more of relevant EHS experience.
Demonstrated multi-site and multi-country operational experience.
Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks across the Americas.
Proven background in leading teams and driving cultural change.
Preferred certifications include Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist, or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager.
