Key Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you will lead the charge on several critical initiatives, driving security and enablement across our AI endeavors:

Develop and implement a comprehensive AI security strategy across all Bloomreach products and platforms.
Drive the integration of security by design principles into our AI development processes, spanning from initial concept to final deployment.
Establish clear best practices and guidelines for secure AI model development, responsible data handling, and secure deployment strategies.
Collaborate closely with engineering, product, legal, and compliance teams to ensure complete alignment on security standards and regulatory requirements.
Proactively identify and mitigate security risks specifically associated with AI/ML systems, including concerns like data poisoning, model evasion, and privacy vulnerabilities.
Champion a robust culture of security awareness and responsibility within the AI development community across Bloomreach.
Stay constantly informed about the latest advancements in AI security, emerging privacy regulations, and evolving industry best practices.
Build and mentor a high-performing team focused on AI enablement and security.

Requirements

To thrive in this role, you should bring a strong blend of leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for secure innovation:

Proven leadership experience, typically 8+ years, in AI/ML security, application security, or a closely related field.
A deep understanding of AI/ML concepts, architectures, and the full development lifecycle.
Strong expertise in security principles and practices specifically tailored for AI systems, including threat modeling, vulnerability assessment, and comprehensive risk management.
Familiarity with relevant data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and other global standards.
Extensive experience with cloud security best practices across major providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
