Overview
Ever wondered why so many ambitious modernization projects fizzle out, stuck in endless pilots or ballooning way over budget? At Mactores, we're on a mission to change that. We believe in shipping. We build production systems that actually run, legacy infrastructure that truly retires, and outcomes that are clearly measured. Our secret weapon? A unique agent platform, Aedeon, which tackles the repetitive 60-70% of the work. This frees up our forward-deployed engineers to focus on the crucial parts like architecture, expert judgment, and seamless cutovers. Now, imagine being at the heart of this transformative work, learning from the best.
As a DevOps Engineer intern, you won't just observe; you'll dive deep into the discipline that makes modernization count, ensuring releases land and old systems finally switch off. This is your chance to learn the agent-native craft, contributing to large customer deployments involving complex Linux and Windows environments, robust enterprise applications, and massive big data workloads. Mactores stands as the agent-native AWS modernization firm, dedicated to delivering tangible results where others often falter. Our innovative approach, powered by the Aedeon platform, streamlines the most time consuming aspects of modernization. This allows our expert engineers to concentrate on strategic architectural decisions and flawless system transitions. The DevOps team is absolutely vital to this process, acting as the bedrock that ensures successful releases and the confident retirement of legacy systems. This internship offers a remarkable opportunity to become an integral part of our infrastructure and application modernization pillar, playing a supporting role in crucial migrations that move our customers from dedicated hardware to the agile, powerful environment of AWS.
