You will spend your days writing code, creating engaging content, and connecting with a fast-growing community of builders. This is a fully remote, worldwide opportunity although this specific listing focuses on New York, NY. Supabase gives developers a complete backend platform powered by Postgres, covering everything from authentication to vector search. As part of the DevRel team, you will act as a vital bridge between our engineering roots and our amazing community of over 350,000 developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-impact technical content including blog posts, video tutorials, and documentation that inspires builders.
- Build real-world projects and starter kits using Supabase and modern frontend frameworks.
- Represent Supabase at conferences, meetups, and hackathons within the tech community.
- Engage directly with open source contributors and users across GitHub, Discord, and social platforms.
- Gather feedback from developers to help product and engineering teams build better tools.
Requirements
- Strong background in software engineering with hands-on experience building web or mobile applications.
- A genuine passion for teaching, writing, and public speaking about technology.
- Familiarity with Postgres, modern JavaScript or TypeScript stacks, and cloud architectures.
- Active presence in open source or developer communities is a big plus.
