Dental Field Trainer - Detroit

Dental Field Trainer, Detroit

Imagine playing a pivotal role in revolutionizing an entire industry, one dental practice at a time. That’s precisely the opportunity waiting for you at Dandy. We are reshaping the massive and often traditional world of dentistry, bringing cutting-edge technology and streamlined operations to practices everywhere. As a Dental Field Trainer, you won't just introduce new tools; you will empower clinicians and their teams in Detroit and across the nation, guiding them through a transformative journey into digital dentistry. If you love helping people master new skills and seeing their confidence grow, all while being at the forefront of innovation, then this challenge is perfectly suited for you.

Overview

Dandy is on an ambitious mission to modernize the global dental industry, an incredibly vast sector valued at over $400 billion. We are building the foundational operating system for dental offices worldwide, backed by some of the leading venture capital firms. This enables clinicians and their teams to achieve more for their practices, their people, and their patients through technology, innovation, and unparalleled support.

While Dandy is a globally-minded company that embraces a flexible, remote-first culture for many of its positions, this particular role is a crucial field-based opportunity. You will be operating from Detroit, Michigan, with extensive travel (up to 85%) across the nation to support our dental partners directly. Your focus will be on leading impactful, in-person training sessions, ensuring dental practices confidently adopt intraoral scanning and other digital dentistry solutions to accelerate their early clinical success.

  • Act as a trusted clinical advisor for clinicians, operational leaders, and executive stakeholders, offering expert guidance.
  • Guide dental teams through the seamless integration of new technology and digital workflows into their daily practice.
  • Work to improve clinical performance and operational efficiency for our partners.
  • Help accelerate the early success and long-term proficiency of practices utilizing Dandy's innovative tools.
  • Provide ongoing support and problem-solving assistance to ensure a smooth transition to digital dentistry.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a highly consultative trainer, preferably within the dental or medical device industry.
  • Strong clinical background in dentistry, demonstrating a deep understanding of dental practices and procedures.
  • An ability to clearly communicate complex technical information in an accessible and engaging manner.
  • Comfortable with extensive nationwide travel, up to 85% of your time, serving our partners on site.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing you to build rapport and trust with diverse stakeholders quickly.
  • A proactive problem-solver who can adapt training methods to suit various learning styles and practice needs.
  • Based in or near Detroit, Michigan, ready to serve as a hub for your travel assignments.

What You'll Gain

  • The chance to make a tangible impact on a massive industry, shaping the future of dental care.
  • Opportunities for significant professional growth and development within a rapidly expanding, innovative company.
  • Work with cutting-edge technology that genuinely improves patient outcomes and practice efficiency.
  • Be part of an ambitious, supportive team that values collaboration and forward-thinking ideas.
  • A competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits, recognizing your valuable expertise and commitment.
