This crucial, full-time role focuses heavily on data migration and seamless system integration, working entirely remotely from anywhere in the world. As our primary subject matter expert, you will skillfully navigate the Vantagepoint Data Import Utility, guaranteeing impeccable data integrity, smooth operational transitions, and the very best system configuration.

Key Responsibilities

Data Migration Execution: Design and implement comprehensive extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) pipelines, moving data from diverse legacy systems directly into our Deltek Vantagepoint platform.
Data Import Utility Management: Take full ownership of configuring, mapping, and executing all data loads using Vantagepoint's native Data Import Utility.
Data Cleansing and Validation: Meticulously audit, clean, and reconcile intricate relational datasets. You will develop robust validation scripts to confirm accurate post-migration financial balances and complete project histories.
System Optimization: Strategically map existing legacy system workflows to align with optimal Vantagepoint architectures, all while strictly upholding data governance and essential security controls.
Troubleshooting and Support: Proactively diagnose, investigate, and effectively resolve any issues that arise during the data migration process or impact system functionality post-implementation.

Requirements

Demonstrated expert level proficiency with Deltek Vantagepoint, particularly with its Data Import Utility.
