About the Role: Data Scientist

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy advanced predictive models and machine learning algorithms to optimize patient advocacy, personalize healthcare journeys, and improve health outcomes.
Conduct rigorous statistical analysis and experimentation to identify key drivers of success, measure impact, and inform strategic decisions across the organization.
Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for product, engineering, operations, and leadership teams.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to define key metrics, build robust reporting, and establish a data-driven culture.
Identify new data sources and implement innovative analytical techniques to continually enhance our understanding of patient needs and system inefficiencies.
Champion data quality, integrity, and governance best practices throughout the data lifecycle.
Contribute to the overall data strategy and roadmap, identifying opportunities for leveraging data to create competitive advantages.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline.
More than 3 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist, preferably in a fast-paced startup or technology environment.
Exceptional proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and machine learning.
Strong expertise in SQL for querying and managing large datasets.
Demonstrated experience building, validating, and deploying machine learning models in a production environment.
Solid understanding of statistical inference, experimental design, and A/B testing methodologies.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts and data-driven insights clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proactive problem-solver with a strong bias for action and an ability to thrive in an ambiguous, rapidly changing environment.
Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and data warehousing solutions is a plus.
