Overview

As our new Data Privacy Compliance Specialist, you will support our global privacy programs including HIPAA and GDPR. Reporting directly to the Data Privacy Compliance Lead, you will work closely with teams across the entire organization. Your main goal is ensuring personal data gets collected, processed, and stored safely and legally according to worldwide standards and DeepHealth policies.

Key Responsibilities

Support everyday organizational data privacy efforts to guarantee strict adherence to local, national, and global laws.
Assist with our Privacy by Design program by guiding product development, software updates, and exciting AI use cases.
Partner with Vendor Management to vet third-party vendors and implement crucial Data Processing Agreements and Transfer Impact Assessments.
Research evolving country-specific privacy frameworks to fuel our continued compliance and unlock new business opportunities.
Work hand-in-hand with cross-functional groups to roll out technical and organizational safeguards for data protection.
Monitor how personal data flows through our systems from collection to storage.

Requirements

Proven experience working with global data privacy regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA.
Familiarity with software development lifecycles, AI systems, and Privacy by Design methodologies.
Strong background in reviewing vendor agreements and managing data transfer assessments.
Excellent cross-functional communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.
Ability to thrive in a fully remote work environment operating across multiple time zones.
