Overview
Enterprise data systems are undergoing a massive evolution, and Microsoft Fabric sits right at the center of that shift. If you enjoy building modern data platforms from the ground up and know your way around OneLake and large-scale analytics, this role offers an exceptional playground. Argano is searching for a Senior Data Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise-grade Fabric solutions. This is a fully remote, worldwide opportunity that gives you the freedom to drive high-impact initiatives from wherever you work best.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between high-level architectural strategy and practical technical execution. You will define Fabric landing zones, formulate enterprise data standards, and prepare client environments for secure, scalable, AI-ready operations.
Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day focus will center on robust architecture, technical standards, and real-world delivery across multiple domains.
- Design and deploy enterprise Microsoft Fabric ecosystems covering OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Factory, and Real-Time Intelligence.
- Architect high-performance semantic models using Direct Lake, Import, and Composite patterns to ensure rapid business insights.
- Define reusable platform standards, reference architectures, workload boundaries, and multi-domain landing zones.
- Build resilient data pipelines and transformation workflows using Spark notebooks and Data Factory.
- Drive DevOps automation, CI/CD implementations, and automated testing to streamline platform deployments.
- Partner with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into durable, future-proof technical solutions.
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced technical leader who brings deep architectural wisdom alongside roll-up-your-sleeves capability.
- Extensive background in enterprise data architecture and modern analytical systems design.
- Demonstrated hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric components and associated Azure data services.
- Strong background in data modeling, SQL, Python or PySpark, DAX, and semantic layer design.
- Firm grasp of data governance frameworks, security configurations, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Proven ability to guide technical teams, communicate complex concepts clearly, and guide organizational technical roadmaps.
- Comfort working independently and collaboratively across distributed global teams.
What You Will Gain
Working with Argano means stepping directly into the future of data engineering and architecture. You will work on cutting-edge client initiatives, collaborate with some of the sharpest minds in cloud technology, and establish best practices in an ecosystem that is rapidly shaping modern business intelligence. We provide a collaborative, flexible global culture where your ideas carry real weight.
