Overview

Are you someone who loves diving deep into complex infrastructure problems and keeping massive Kubernetes environments humming smoothly? If you want to play a crucial role in the success of enterprise data teams globally, this might just be your next big career move. We are looking for an infrastructure specialist to join our Customer Reliability Engineering team. You will operate, monitor, and maintain our managed Airflow service, ensuring absolute availability and predictability for our users. This is a fully remote, worldwide opportunity allowing you to work from wherever you are most productive.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to infrastructure incidents raised by customers or internal monitoring systems with speed and precision.
Investigate root causes to ensure problems are permanently resolved or better monitored moving forward.
Focus heavily on the reliability and performance of underlying cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters.
Take ownership of our observability platform and help scale monitoring capabilities across the board.
Partner closely with engineering and support teams to elevate the overall customer experience on Astro.

Requirements

Strong background in managing and scaling Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
Solid experience with major cloud infrastructure providers and modern DevOps tooling.
Proven track record in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
Deep passion for automation, observability, and building resilient systems.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset for a globally distributed team.
