Overview
Ever wanted to help shape the skills of the United States Navy Seabees? General Dynamics Information Technology is looking for someone who knows steelworking inside and out to join our team as a Senior Instructional Developer. You will directly support the Center for Seabees and Facilities Engineering by building and refining top tier training materials. Best of all, this is a fully remote role that you can perform from anywhere in the world. We need a creative problem solver who can take complex technical concepts and turn them into engaging, effective learning experiences for our service members.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive curriculum products tailored specifically for Seabee Steelworkers.
- Act as the ultimate subject matter expert for all steelworking courseware and training documentation.
- Create rigorous assessments, tests, and practical evaluations to measure student mastery.
- Collaborate closely with instructional design teams and military stakeholders to keep training relevant and accurate.
- Manage individual production tasks efficiently while meeting strict project milestones.
Requirements
- Must have at least fifteen years of related experience in steelworking and instructional development.
- Strong proficiency using Microsoft Office 365 for daily tasks and documentation.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to articulate technical procedures clearly.
- Must be a United States citizen.
