Our Finance team at Thumbtack serves as a trusted steward of company resources and a true business partner. We go beyond merely reporting figures. we actively participate in deciding where our investments go. Corporate FP&A stands at the center of this crucial work, responsible for the consolidated forecast, the annual plan, and the vital reporting that informs our leadership team and Board of Directors. We are also reinventing how finance operates, leveraging AI to eliminate manual reporting tasks so our team can dedicate its time to strategic judgment rather than data assembly. Key Responsibilities

Own and drive the company's consolidated financial forecast, ensuring accuracy and strategic alignment.
Lead the development and execution of the annual financial plan across the organization.
Prepare and present comprehensive financial reporting for senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
Actively participate in rebuilding and optimizing finance processes, embracing AI and new technologies to enhance efficiency and insight.
Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights that inform business decisions.
Collaborate closely with various departments to understand their financial needs and provide strategic support.
Develop and maintain robust financial models that support long-term planning and scenario analysis.

Requirements

Several years of progressive experience in Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) roles, preferably within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Proven expertise in financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes.
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with an ability to distill complex data into clear, concise insights.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively conveying financial information to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
A proactive mindset with a keen interest in leveraging technology, especially AI, to improve finance operations.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
Ability to thrive in a remote work environment, demonstrating strong self-motivation and collaboration skills.
