Key Responsibilities

Define and Execute Strategy: Architect and lead the controls product strategy, ensuring it aligns with Monzo's overarching business goals and regulatory requirements.
Product Platform Leadership: Spearhead the design, development, and evolution of our controls product platform, making sure it is scalable, efficient, and user centric.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, risk, compliance, legal, and other product teams to integrate control solutions seamlessly across our offerings.
Risk and Control Expertise: Apply deep understanding of financial risk management and regulatory frameworks to embed robust, preventative controls within our product lifecycle.
Drive Innovation: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to automate and enhance control processes using cutting edge technology.
Team Enablement: Provide clear guidance and support to product managers and engineers, empowering them to deliver high quality control features.
Performance Monitoring: Establish key metrics and reporting mechanisms to track the effectiveness of controls, driving data informed decisions.

Requirements
