micro1 is at the forefront of innovation, and we are currently engaging skilled Contracts Attorneys for a unique, confidential project sitting right at the intersection of law and artificial intelligence. In this contractor role, you will apply your deep legal knowledge to help train advanced AI systems, influencing how these models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. You won't need prior AI experience; your strong domain expertise in commercial contracting is what truly matters here. The work directly mirrors day-to-day in-house counsel activities, involving agreement reviews, drafting markups, and applying company policy positions.

Key Responsibilities

Review and redline a variety of commercial agreements, including Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), and similar legal documents, all in strict accordance with established playbooks and company policies.
Analyze agreement drafts carefully to identify key issues, determining applicable company positions and acceptable fallback outcomes for various clauses.
Draft clear, well-reasoned written explanations detailing the rationale behind each redline, revision, or proposed change.
Apply advanced knowledge of contract drafting, negotiation strategies, and technology transactions to real-world legal documents.
Collaborate effectively with our dedicated project team to maintain consistency and quality across all legal outputs.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Contracts Attorney, demonstrating strong command of commercial contracting practices.
Exceptional ability to review, analyze, and redline complex legal documents accurately and efficiently.
Advanced drafting skills and a keen understanding of contract negotiation principles.
Familiarity with various commercial agreement types, such as MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs.
The capacity to clearly articulate legal reasoning and policy application in written form.
