Dangote Industries Limited is currently seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Concrete Works Supervisor to join its team at SSC P-Numan. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a vital role in large-scale Agricultural Development Projects that drive sustainable economic growth.
Position Overview
As a Concrete Works Supervisor, you will provide critical support to the project Engineer and Manager. Your primary responsibility will be supervising all concrete construction activities on-site, ensuring that every phase of concrete work aligns strictly with approved technical designs, industry standards, and strict safety guidelines.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- End-to-End Supervision: Oversee all aspects of concrete operations from initial site preparation and reinforcement setup to pouring, finishing, and curing.
- Inspections: Perform regular and thorough construction site inspections to maintain high-quality standards.
- Safety Management: Actively manage occupational health and safety protocols on-site, ensuring regulatory compliance and a zero-incident work environment.
- Reporting: Document daily progress, track milestones, and prepare accurate reports for management review.
- Budgetary Support: Assist with budget preparation, monitor construction expenditures, and identify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
- Problem Solving: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve any technical or structural issues that arise during the concrete finishing and curing processes.
- Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of job schedules, materials, and specialized equipment usage.
Educational Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Minimum of a National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Experience: At least three (3) years of hands-on, verifiable experience in concrete construction supervision.
